Contest entry guidelines:
1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to enter. 2. You must purchase and download the Adobe-formatted eBook edition of ONE KNIGHT STAND ON MOUNT OLYMPUS from this commercial website (not from my storefronts at lulu.com). The price of the eBook download is $7.50, and your secured payment is made through PayPal (all major credit cards accepted). If you do not have an account established at PayPal, simply register with PayPal after you are re-directed there from one of the “eBook/PayPal” links on my website. 3. Once you have completed your eBook purchase transaction with PayPal, you will be re-directed back to the eBook download page on my website where you can immediately download the 323-page, Adobe, PDF-formatted, eBook edition of my book and save it on your computer. PayPal immediately emails me with the buyer’s information from every eBook purchase. (Note: The book-cover and back-cover images are NOT included in the eBook download. If you want to download the book covers, simply “right click” on those images from any of the links on my website, then “save as” to any location—desk top, my documents, eBook folder, etc.—on your computer.) 4. For every one hundred (100) eBook purchases from my website through PayPal (NOT from my storefronts at lulu.com), I will conduct a random drawing. The winner will immediately be notified by email and awarded a $100 cash prize! The odds of winning are 1 in 100! The lucky winner, together with the other ninety-nine (99) eligible eBook buyers will also be automatically entered in the $1,000 random drawing. 5. For every one thousand (1,000) eBook purchases from my website through PayPal (NOT from my storefronts at lulu.com), I will conduct a random drawing. The winner will immediately be notified by email and awarded a $1,000 cash prize! The odds of winning are 1 in 1,000! Note: Every drawing will be conducted by John M. Bartosh and Jerry L. Neal, my nephew. Jerry, a former state patrolman with the Colorado State Patrol, is currently the “Media Relations Director” with the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Jerry will be the individual to “draw” the lucky winner for each and every one of the random-drawing events. John M. Bartosh, the author, and Jerry L. Neal, the co-director of the eBook readers’ contest, are not eligible to enter. Winners' names will be posted on this webpage within 24 hours after each random drawing. 6. Random drawings will be conducted as outlined above from July 20, 2010 and for as long as my eBook is listed for sale on my website. 7. After taxes and expenses, all net proceeds from my book sales, including eBook sales, will be donated to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and to HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) and to other worthwhile community charities, such as shelters for the homeless and safe houses for abused and/or battered women and children.
